The PiBoy DMG is a complete handheld gaming system built around the Raspberry Pi computer. Emulation suites such as RetroPie and Lakka allow the PiBoy to run emulator for most any popular gaming platform. View your games on a colorful 640×480 IPS screen, customize your button layout with the 8 available buttons and play for hours with a large lithium polymer battery. The Raspberry Pi 4, 3B+ and Zero are all compatible with the PiBoy DMG.
The PiBoy DMG can be ordered in three configurations. The base kit comes partially assembled and you must supply a Raspberry Pi, micro SD card and battery. The full kit comes with a battery and a cooling fan, so that you only need to supply a Raspberry Pi and micro SD card. Finally the assembled versions comes complete with everything needed and is fully assembled and tested. None of the versions of the PiBoy DMG require any soldering to assemble.
There are several optional add-ons for the PiBoy DMG that can be purchased in addition to the PiBoy kit. Colored cases are available in black, transparent black, transparent purple, clear and yellow. Also, an HDMI adapter can be purchased to give the PiBoy the ability to connect to an external monitor or TV.
