We’re proud to announce that we have released 3D source files for the PiBoy’s buttons. With these you can 3D print your own buttons or send them out to a 3rd party service to have them printed for you. This means that you can have buttons printed in colors that we don’t offer. There are also a variety of cool 3D printing filaments now available to create interesting buttons such as wood grain filament and glow in the dark filament.
You can download the files from the downloads section of our website which hosts all of our software.
The STL files can be fed to a slicer program for use with your own 3D printer or sent out to a 3D printing service such as Shapeways.
The STL files can also modified by software such as Blender, Fusion 360 and SketchUp to create custom button shapes. The combination of custom shapes, color and filament allows you to create a PiBoy customized to your liking. Remember, we also offer a variety of colored cases so you can mix and match components to create unique color schemes.
